Standard or integrated-indicator tail tidy

Start with the signal layout and serviceability you want, not only the smallest rear profile.

A standard tail tidy retains separate indicators and uses a compact number-plate bracket. It can suit riders who prefer distinct signal pods or want individual indicator components to remain separately replaceable. An integrated-indicator tail tidy combines rear-lighting functions into a cleaner visual assembly, with Split and Unibrow styles currently shown for the LS Customs product.

Neither style is automatically correct for every motorcycle or road-use requirement. Signal separation, visibility, plate location, illumination and local enforcement expectations need consideration. Confirm the exact bike and year before treating a listed range as final fitment.

What LS Customs checks before installation

The workshop confirms the make, model, year and relevant rear-end configuration. Existing indicators, aftermarket exhausts, luggage systems, bodywork or earlier wiring can change the job. A product that is listed for a model family may still need a variant, year or current-bike confirmation before an installation slot is agreed.

If you already own a third-party kit, send its exact brand or listing, all included hardware and clear photographs. LS Customs can then say whether an inspection is needed before accepting the installation. The workshop does not promise compatibility or completeness for an unknown kit based only on a generic product title.

  • Motorcycle make, model, year and existing rear-end modifications.
  • Preferred standard, Split or Unibrow style where applicable.
  • Need for luggage, pillion use, frequent wet-weather use or easy reversal.
  • Condition of connectors, plate light, indicators and existing harness.
  • Whether the original parts should be returned and retained.

Installation and final-check process

After the scope is approved, the original assembly is removed with attention to reusable hardware and wiring. The selected bracket and lighting components are positioned, routed and secured. The workshop checks for relevant movement and tyre clearance, avoids careless strain at connectors and keeps future access in mind.

Final checks cover mounting security, plate position, visible light operation, indicator function where included, number-plate illumination where part of the scope and the finished routing. The exact electrical checks depend on the product and motorcycle; this page does not claim a universal plug-and-play installation.

Road-use and inspection considerations

A tidy rear profile does not remove the need to consider plate visibility, required lighting and indicator expectations. Requirements can change and enforcement or insurance questions are outside a workshop guarantee. Review the current official rules, and do not assume that a product photograph proves approval for every road or registration context.

If the motorcycle is used on track, the organizer may have separate preparation or removal requirements. Tell LS Customs about the actual use so the chosen layout is not scoped for the wrong purpose.

Important: LS Customs can explain the installation it is offering; the rider remains responsible for confirming current registration, road-use, insurer and event requirements.

Product price is not always the installed total

The website currently shows product starting points for the available standard and integrated-indicator tail tidy products. Final price, motorcycle fitment, selected style, shipping or workshop installation are confirmed directly. Additional correction, third-party parts, connector work or missing hardware can change an installation quote.

Send the motorcycle details and preferred product before visiting. LS Customs usually responds within 30 minutes during working hours and can tell you whether the next step is a product confirmation, workshop inspection or installation booking.

Service note

Service scope is confirmed only after LS Customs checks the motorcycle or scooter, its model year, condition, required parts and intended use. Published examples describe the workshop process; they are not a promise that every vehicle needs or supports the same work.
